Marriage is a normal stage in life that happens to almost all of the people at a certain age in life, be it sooner or later. A happy marriage is a very complex undertaking and it takes a lot of effort to make a marriage work. Enduring couples seem to have all the secrets to long lasting romance but the truth is that the secrets are out there in the open for everyone to see and lay within ourselves.

There isn't a straight recipe for a happy marriage but a few helpful tips will ensure that you stay on track and avoid any major conflicts: -One of the first things that you need to take into consideration is the fact that will is necessary to keep your marriage alive. If you marriage is falling apart and you have no desire to put it back together then no advice the world can help you , but if saving you marriage is what you want to do then act quickly and don't let things resolve themselves, and remember that acting is more important than wishing. -You as a person must focus on the things that you love about the person you're married with, and try to move the focus away from his/hers defects. After all we're only human and nobody is perfect, so keep in mind that it is best to view the other's qualities before his/her defects. When getting into a fight make sure that you don't criticize and keep in mind the good parts only. -Always be kind to the person that is there by you for better and for worse, it has been observed that in couples people tend to treat each other worse then they treat strangers, so be careful about this aspect and always treat the other with kindness.

-Always tell your spouse how important he/she is to you, appreciate him and always remember to thank him/her for whatever he/she does for you, always make time to tell him/her or her how good everything he/she does is, this will ensure a happy long lasting marriage. -Every time you want something ask and don't keep your desires to yourself, people cannot guess what you want. A common problem in relationships is that one of them has desires that he does not share and blames the other for not realizing what he or she wants, this is totally irrational because if one of them does not talk there is no way of finding out what the other wants.

-Always listen to what the other has to say, offer support and do not judge or jump to conclusions, accept other opinions and don't create a big fight only because the other has a different opinion than yours. Last but not least open up to your spouse, let him or her get into you system and don't build walls around your soul. Relationships are based on total honesty and thrust, so even if you do make some mistakes along the way don't close your soul because if the other loves you he will forgive and understand.
